USDA names KC as finalist for offices, potentially hundreds of jobs

Winning a pair of U.S. Department of Agriculture offices could bring hundreds of high-paying jobs. Kansas City’s application, which was submitted by the Kansas City Area Development Council and the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor, was one of 136 applicants in 35 states.
