Americold Realty Trust Completes $350 Million Private Placement of Senior Unsecured Notes

Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD) (the “Company” or “Americold”), the world’s largest publicly traded REIT focused on the ownership, operation and development of temperature-controlled warehouses, announced today that the Company has closed an aggregate principal amount of $350 million of senior unsecured notes (the “Notes”) in an institutional private placement. The Notes are due January 8, 2030 and carry an interest rate of 4.10% and a duration of 10.7 years. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the issuance of the Notes for long-term debt financing of the previously announced Cloverleaf and Lanier acquisitions.

The Notes have not been and will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), and are being offered and sold in reliance on the exemption from registration provided by Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act.
