City aldermen eye campaign finance reforms amid Stenger probe

City of St. Louis aldermen will ask voters to amend their charter in a push for a host of ethics reforms. The move follows a recent indictment, resignation and guilty plea from former St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger on three federal corruption charges on pay-to-play schemes involving campaign contributions.
