Private insurers paid Louisville hospitals 187 percent more than Medicare, study says

A recent analysis shows private insurers paid Louisville hospitals nearly three-times more than what the federal health plan Medicare would have paid. However, the difference between Medicare payments and private insurance payments in Louisville is was of the smallest in the analysis.
