June in Montreal means summer has arrived along with Montreal’s tradition of wonderful festivals kicked off by The Canadian Grand Prix Formula 1 race. Winnie’s Bar Restaurant has announced their live music line-up for the month of June 2019. The second level of Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complexe hosts live entertainment starting on Wednesday and continues through to Saturday. Here is the line-up for June:
A popular group to Winnie’s Bar Restaurant, ‘The Jones’ presents their talent on four different nights in June starting on Saturday, June 1st and three added shows on Wednesday, June 9th, Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27th..
“Side FX’ will be playing at Winnie’s on the second weekend of June and will include Friday, June 14th and again on Saturday, June 15th. This group have been performing monthly for the crowd at Winnie’s for some time now.
‘DJ Shamrock’ a favourite of Winnie’s regulars, will be performing on Wednesday, June 5th..
The ‘Dwane Dixon Duo’ will be on stage Thursday, June 20th.
‘Take 2 is back on Wednesday, June 19th.
‘FM’ will be on stage three times this month during Grand Prix weekend starting on Thursday, June 6th, Friday, June 7th and on Saturday, June 8th. The parties on Crescent Street during The Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix is always an exciting time and the group ‘FM’ will keep the party happening all three nights. The Band will start playing at 11:00 PM when the street activities subside.
One of Winnie’s favourite groups, ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ is scheduled to entertain the crowd on Wednesday, June 12th.
‘Newbrand’ make their one and only appearance on Thursday, June 13th
The group ‘This Side Up’ are a new group to Winnie’s stage and will be playing the third weekend of June which includes Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd.
A monthly favourite, ‘Relentless’ are performing the final weekend in June on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th.

The management also wants to remind their guests that DJ’s are downstairs at Sir Winston Churchill Pub every night of the week to provide Montreal’s best dance music from 10 PM to 3 AM. Also note Winnie’s Bar Restaurant has DJ Shamrock on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to provide great music during the band’s breaks so the music never stops.
