Feds: 81-year-old bank robbery suspect wanted to return to prison because of small Social Security payments

An 81-year-old man who has spent most of his adult life behind bars for a series of bank heists said he robbed an Arizona credit union months after being released because his $800 monthly Social Security check wasn't enough to live on, according to court records.
