Ige vetoes Hawaii REIT, Airbnb bills but allows boost to film tax credit to become law

Overall, Gov. David Ige vetoed 18 of the 20 measures on the list of potential vetoes released last month. He allowed the other two to become law without his signature, including one that increases Hawaii’s film tax credit. Legislative leaders previously said they would not call a special session this summer to attempt an override of the vetoes.
