Dublin, Ireland. Wednesday 14th August: After months of voting from thousands of industry professionals, business experts, and fitness enthusiasts were tallied up, Dublin-based fitness centre Body By G has been crowned Best Fitness Community at the prestigious Irish Fitness Industry Awards at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry.

Big Prize Underlines Quick Progress For Dublin Fitness Community

In partnership with the Jack & Jill Foundation, and hosted by highly qualified fitness and nutrition expert Sinead McSorley, the second annual Irish Fitness Industry Awards took place on June 22nd with some of the best names in the country fighting for the coveted prizes.

Winners were recognised for their excellence in the field with McSorley confirming: “The winning facilities, teams, programmes and content are setting the standards in the health and fitness industry in Ireland” while the standard of competition further underlined the magnitude of the ceremony.

For Body By G, a company that only launched in 2015, it signals a rapid rise to the top table of Ireland’s health and fitness industry. Taking the first steps in their mid-thirties, owners Gary Hogan and Tanika Salvidge were latecomers to the industry, initially setting their eyes on starting a fitness business in 2014. Despite this, it hasn’t stopped them from creating what is now officially the Best Fitness Community in the country inside five years.

Powered by their personal experiences of transforming their lives despite a lack of winning support, the owners have always focused on providing a user-centric service that actually understands clients and their requirements.

Hogan stated that Body By G always wanted to build a fitness community because “people were lost in the back of crowded fitness classes or spending hours on a treadmill and eating like a rabbit or taking lots of gainers and doing 1,000 crunches to get the six-pack”.

The Irish Fitness Industry Award shows recognition to a service that educates its family of clients, helping them to achieve life-changing results in a safe and sustainable fashion. The company has truly raised the bar and continues to grow from strength to strength.
