To celebrate the offer, Chase and IHG® Hotels & Resorts kick off collaboration with Roadtrippers to inspire Americans to embark on domestic adventures

Today, Chase Card Services and IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, celebrate their most-rewarding points offer to date with the launch of “The Great American Statecation” – a campaign built to inspire consumers to adventure beyond their own backyard while earning big rewards. For a limited time, new IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Cardmembers can earn 40X points total per $1 spent at more than 5,700 IHG Hotels & Resorts and 4X points per $1 spent on all other purchases, both for the first 12 months from account opening. New cardmembers can also get a limited-time 125,000-point bonus after spending $3,000 in the first three months from account opening, which can be redeemed for at least three nights at most hotels.

The IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Card is partnering with domestic travel expert Roadtrippers to launch “The Great American Statecation.” Roadtrippers has seen a recent trend of consumers taking shorter road trips – making road-based travel a significant contributor to an experiences-over-things trend. With that in mind, and as part of the partnership, The Great American Statecation will release multiple regional itineraries that take consumers from well-known landmarks to hidden gems, and the limited-time offer to new cardmembers will help them earn big rewards as they enjoy trips all over the U.S.

To kick off the promotion, the IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Card is giving consumers a unique experience in the heart of New York on Thursday, August 15. A five-hole putt-putt course in Flatiron Plaza will bring to life five unique and colorful road trip destinations – some well-known and other hidden gems. Attendees will be able to play a favorite summer pastime and receive giveaways (including IHG Rewards Club points to put towards their own Great American Statecation).
