Labor nominee Eugene Scalia touted for expertise and experience, but faces stiff Dem opposition

President Trump this week formally announced his intention to nominate Eugene Scalia as Labor secretary – with the White House pointing to the pick as one that brings both expertise as well as direct experience of the department to the job. But Democrats are threatening to oppose a pick they fear could be a deregulating powerhouse.
