In her delightful alphabet book, Strauss introduces a much more enjoyable learning material for kids. This children's book contains 26 little rhymes for little readers. She provides an avenue for parents to share endearing but teachable moments with their children, reading the rhymes aloud as they go along. It's also a perfectly fine material for kids to read on their own.
The book was originally a two-page print illustration the author gave as a gift to her grandsons. Over the years, those two pages became some kind of a gift book until it grew into a complete alphabet book.
Strauss is a retired professional from the textile industry. She now lives with her partner and seven cats in a 100-year-old farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania. Even when retired, the author still designs in her garden, where she also creating concepts for future children's books.
Alice's work will be exhibited at the Manila International Book Fair to be held at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Philippines this coming Sept. 11- 15, 2019 from 10am-8pm at the Authors Press booth no. 2-35.
