Cristo Rey Columbus High School’s president joined when it was just an idea. Now he’s retiring

Cristo Rey Columbus, part of a network of 37 schools nationwide, opened in 2013. Since then, it has grown from about 80 freshmen to 414 students. The school is based in the historic former building for the Ohio School for the Deaf, which it moved into after an $18 million renovation in 2014.
