Pentagon awards Microsoft $10B 'war cloud' contract, snubbing Amazon

The Pentagon announced Friday that it awarded the $10 billion Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) contract to build a cloud computing system for the military to Microsoft, in a noteworthy snub to Amazon.
