Soccer Economics - update on their model soccer game predictions Re-calibration of data forecasting model required

Toronto, Nov 15, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - CLARIFICATION AND AMENDMENT to Soccer Economics' press release dated November 15th, 2019 titled: Wales Vs. Azerbaijan Soccer Euro Cup game - WALES TO WIN

The press release (the "PR") referenced above contained factually incorrect information. Soccer Economics' first prediction was wrong. Their data modelling system had shown Turkey as the winner of the Euro Cup qualifying game - and the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

It is imperative to clearly communicate to the general public, based on the PR above, that Soccer Economics' first forecast was incorrect and that the model is currently being re-calibrated to enhance any and all future predictions.

More details:

Soccer Economics' data soccer forecasting model has publicly announced its two first Euro Cup qualifying game predictions.

The first prediction had Turkey as the winner of the November 14th game between that team vs. Iceland. The game ended as a 0-0 draw - resulting in the forecasting models' incorrect first prediction.

As a result, the model is currently being re-calibrated to take into account new data (that is being added to enhance the precision of forecasts) along with ongoing data weighting adjustments. The aim is to increase the accuracy of the model as it evolves.

The second prediction has Wales as the winner against Azerbaijan on November 16.
