Country Music Singer, Tayo Reed, grew up listening to country music in her sweet home of Alabama. Even as a child, she remembers rushing home after school to watch her favorite TV show, Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters. A true country girl at heart, Tayo says, "I have only desired to sing one style of music." As with Kane Brown and Jimmie Allen, Tayo Reed's determination and perseverance continues to break industry barriers to share her music with the world.
During her 23-year journey pursuing her dream of singing country music, Tayo Reed has stayed busy utilizing her other many talents. She performed: as a Nitro Girl on the #1 sports television show, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) Monday Night Raw, as a former NFL Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader and original NBA Atlanta Hawks Dancer, as a dancer on tour with the God Father of Soul, legendary James Brown and other celebrities, as a cast member of the Georgia's Coca Cola Olympics production, and winner of the country music singing contest at Wild Bills Country Arena in Atlanta, leading to being a featured country artist at the North Georgia Fair for the Colgate Country Showdown. The Radio Disney Festival, International Horse Park Rodeo, Nashville Hall of Fame, and the Irish Pub were country shows referred by country fans.
The Tennessean Newspaper wrote a featured article about country singer, Tayo Reed after her electrifying show at the 2003 Country Music Marathon, today it's called St. Jude Rock'n Roll Nashville Marathon. Most recently, Tayo Reed competed with a musical performance on the, Steve Harvey's Big Break TV Show and opened up for country icon, Vince Gill, at the Mullet Festival in Niceville, Florida.
