Allina looks to Optum to run its surgery centers, starting with West Health

The deal will see Optum running as many as 12 centers for Allina. SCA will take over the the surgical center at Allina's West Health facility in Plymouth, which is an extension of Abbott Northwestern hospital, on February 1.
