Title with a victory over Om Hyatt (17-3) of the California Grapplers Wrestling Team.
Luke Sevilla, (12-12) also defeated Julian Avalos (12-8) of the California Grapplers and Hector Sandoval (9-12) of Team Tribe with quick first-round pins.
Luke Sevilla, who failed to make weight at his regular 84 lb. weight class competed for the first time at 93 lbs. and is a first-year wrestler with 4 months of experience, coached by 3G Head Coach and Club Founder - Brian Sandmark, Glenn Bell, Anthony Eligio and his father, Tommy Sevilla.
Luke's 3G teammates who qualified, competed, won titles or placed at the CAGWA League Finals were: Jacob Bell, Owen Callaway, Chris Rivas, Diego Eligio, Mason Eligio, Nikhil Guerrero, Cale Smith, Charles Davison, Ezekiel Guerrero, Joseph Martinez, Jaden Black, Maximus Fiero, Dylan Garcia, Michael-Sai Guerrero, Peter Loera, Santiago Loera, Cole Parra, Ryder Quinones, Sawyer Quinones, Philip Valadez.
Luke Sevilla, will now compete for a State Championship in Fresno, with several of his 3G teammates, March 13-15th.
Luke Sevilla, recently quarterbacked his team to the 2019 Corona Friday Night Lights League Championship.
Sevilla also trains as a Boxer at the Jurupa Valley Boxing Club (www.JVBC.net), plays baseball for the Dodgers of Menifee Valley Little League, and is a skilled soccer and basketball player who most recently competed in Riverside City leagues.
