Marinette shipyard wins U.S. Navy frigate contract worth up to $5.5 billion

The U.S Navy on Thursday awarded a shipbuilding contract for the worth up to $5.57 billion to Fincantieri Marinette Marine shipyard in Marinette, extending its work for the U.S. Department of Defense that has supported thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic impact in Wisconsin since the mid-2000s.
