With the lockdown rules loosening in Italy from June 3rd, food and wine tour operator Emilia Delizia is ready to welcome visitors to Bologna and Modena. They are providing an enhanced service to ensure safety to all guests, following government rules on sanitation, distancing, and personal protection.

Italy began to ease the restrictions put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic during May. From May 18th, some shops and other amenities were made available. Italy's beaches have also begun to reopen. From June 3rd, the country will start to welcome tourists again, with travel to and from abroad allowed, as well as regional travel being permitted again. There is no mandatory 14-day quarantine on arrival in Italy, unlike in some countries, although some regions such as Sardinia are considering their own requirements. However, it is important to note that gathering in public is still not allowed.

Emilia Delizia will be taking every measure to ensure the safety of their visitors and follow government guidelines. This will include maintaining hygiene and sanitation, social distancing, and the use of personal protection, all of which will help to prevent the spread of the virus. Wearing masks and keeping a distance of at least one metre from others helps to protect everyone and allow all visitors to enjoy their time in Bologna and Modena with Emilia Delizia. With just a few safety measures, food and wine tours with Emilia Delizia can be run safely and create unforgettable memories of Italy.

Phase 2 of the relaxation of the lockdown included a number of measures to help keep people safe, including the wearing of masks in enclosed public spaces. Parks and outdoor exercise are available, with requirements to maintain social distancing. Restaurants, pubs, bars, shops, hairdressers, salons and beaches all have social distancing measures in place too. Museums and other places of culture have also been open since May 18th, and shows in theatres, concert halls, cinemas and other outdoor spaces will be allowed from June 15th.
