New England Aquarium to open July 16, with far fewer visitors allowed

Capacity at the aquarium will be capped at 15% — or about 240 visitors at a time. Visitation will be cut down to about 1,600 patrons per day, or about 25% of the aquarium’s usual summer attendance.
