Hope Bancorp Announces New Dates for 2020 Second Quarter Financial Results and Conference Call

Hope Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: HOPE), the holding company of Bank of Hope (the “Bank”), today said it is delaying the timing of its 2020 second quarter earnings news release and conference call to allow for additional time to complete its quarterly goodwill impairment analysis.

The Company will now report financial results for its 2020 second quarter after the markets close on Thursday, July 30, 2020 and host its quarterly conference call on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time / 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

The Company is currently finalizing its quarterly goodwill impairment analysis. However, given the significant impact COVID-19 is having on the overall economy, the analysis is taking longer than usual, and the Company believes it is prudent to take additional time as needed to complete a comprehensive analysis prior to announcing its financial results.

As usual, a presentation deck to accompany the earnings call will be available at the Investor Relations section of Hope Bancorp’s website at www.ir-hopebancorp.com. Institutional investors and analysts are invited to access the conference call by dialing 866-235-9917 (domestic) or 412-902-4103 (international) and asking for the “Hope Bancorp Call.” Other interested parties are invited to participate via a live webcast of the call available at Hope Bancorp’s investor relations website.
