Riverfest, fireworks scrapped, while chamber looks for alternative model for Oktoberfest

The region’s annual Riverfest, typically scheduled for the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, is canceled for this year, Mayor John Cranley said Friday, while the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber looks for a way to hold Oktoberfest.
