Best Buy will open more outlet stores in 2023, make backrooms bigger

Leaders at Best Buy Co. Inc. said they plan to close 20 to 30 of the chain's larger-format stores this year while opening about 10 outlets, after posting slower sales for the holiday quarter and warning that soft demand for electronics could linger.
