'Armed and dangerous' Massachusetts man wanted after wife found dead inside home

Massachusetts officials are looking for Aaron Pennington, whose wife Breanne Pennington was found dead in their Gardner home on Sunday while four children were inside.

A Massachusetts man is wanted for questioning in connection with the Sunday homicide of his wife inside their Gardner home.

Authorities found Breanne "Breezy" Pennington, 30, deceased inside the Cherry Street home on Sunday, and the Massachusetts Department of Children and Family Services (DCF) took four children who were inside the home at the time into custody, according to state and federal law enforcement.

Breanne's husband, 33-year-old Aaron Pennington of Gardner, "is currently being sought by Massachusetts State Police and Gardner Police," Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr.'s office said in a Sunday press release.

The Gardner Police Department said in a Monday update that authorities are still looking for Pennington and believe he "may be armed with a firearm."

The 33-year-old may be driving a white BMW 320 with Massachusetts veterans plate 8A30. He could also be using a Texas plate with the number DTZ3103 or a California plate with the number 6CWN728.

Pennington is a White male, standing 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.

His LinkedIn profile states that he works for Raytheon, but Raytheon said it does not have an employee by that name. His LinkedIn profile also said he served in the U.S. Air Force.

Breanne Pennington's social media posts suggested the family had just recently moved from California to Gardner.

"We’re in the middle of buying this awesome house built in 1880 in north central Massachusetts," she wrote in a Facebook group for old homes, along with photos of the house on Cherry Street where she was found dead. Other posts indicate that she and her husband were renovating the house, which she described as a colonial revival.

Posts from Aaron suggest that the family were members of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints (LDS). He also posted about loving his wife and family.

"There are many great men that I know in my life. Many also happen to be fathers and do an incredible job at showing strong financial work ethic, dedication, love to their wives and family. These examples are very close to my heart and I know they are amazing men. I know that when I grow into the best version of myself I will always remember the woman that supported me in this. That is my one true love Breezy!" he wrote.

Aaron described his wife as the most "important human being on this earth" and "very smart."

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Pennington's whereabouts not to approach him and to contact the Massachusetts State Police at 508-829-8236 or the Gardner Police Department at 978-632-5600.
