IR Magazine 2008 South East Asia Awards Nominations Shortlisted

London, Nov 11, 2008 - (ACN Newswire) - The shortlist for the IR Magazine South East Asia Awards 2008 has been announced, highlighting the top practitioners in investor relations in the region. The awards will honor high-flying companies from all market caps across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.

CapitaCommercial Trust Management garnered the most nominations, with five in total. CapitaLand and one of its other subsidiaries, CapitaMall Trust, also picked up several nominations.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore on Friday, November 14. Awards include best investor relations in the Singapore market by Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Philippine and Thai companies, as well as general awards in several categories.

A full list of this year's nominees is available below or on our website at www.irmagazinesoutheastasia.com.

The awards will be hosted in association with Singapore Exchange and IRPAS, and will be co-sponsored by the Bank of New York Mellon, Orient Capital, ShareInvestor, Thomson Reuters, and media partner The Wall Street Journal Asia.

The awards are based on the results of an independent survey of buy-side analysts, sell-side analysts and portfolio managers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and other Asian markets. The complete results of the survey are published in IR magazine's Investor Perception Study, Asia 2008/2009.

The IR magazine investor perception studies together make up the world's largest survey of this kind, canvassing over 5,000 analysts and investors in more than 14 countries and regions. Survey respondents nominate companies in specific categories and offer their opinions on IR-related topics and trends.
