Caterpillar to cut another 2,110 jobs, leaves door open to more

Caterpillar will cut an additional 2,110 production jobs at the heavy-equipment manufacturer's Illinois facilities as it wrestles with a sharp decline in sales tied to a drop-off in commercial construction and tighter lending standards.
