ePallet, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven platform that allows customers direct access to manufacturers’ food products in full pallet increments, announced today that Steve Mitchell has joined the company as the vice president of sales.
Mitchell has over 15 years of experience in senior sales management roles at food and facilities management companies. His proven abilities in managing sales and client retention will be a key to growing ePallet’s customer base of food product vendors and buyers.
Prior to joining ePallet, Mitchell served as senior vice president at USC Global Americas. As vice president of national sales and a member of the senior leadership team at Guckenheimer, Mitchell was responsible for all sales and client retention activities across the U.S., successfully delivering $400 million in contract revenue over a 30-month period.
Mitchell’s experience includes regional vice president of sales at Compass Group, where he managed a team of business development directors selling to corporate and education clients. At Sodexo as vice president of national sales, Mitchell was responsible for new business and client retention activities for large national and global clients.
Additionally, Mitchell has built out sales organizations and created revenue plans for a number of startup companies, with a focus on revenue generation and strategic partnership development. A graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, Mitchell lives in Irvine, California, with his wife Amy.
“I’m excited about this opportunity to join the growing ePallet team,” Mitchell said. “Using technology to disrupt the existing supply chain and bring down costs, the ePallet platform is simple and transparent and gives buyers access to quality, affordable products without middleman markups.”
