Dune Real Estate Partners Appoints Aaron Greeno as Head of West Coast Office

Dune Real Estate Partners LP (“Dune”), a leading New York-based real estate investment firm, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Aaron Greeno as Dune’s Head of West Coast, effective July 27, 2020. In this newly created position, Mr. Greeno will be responsible for originating and evaluating new investment opportunities, executing on value creation strategies and continuing to build and oversee Dune’s business on the West Coast. Mr. Greeno has also been named a Partner and Member of Dune’s Investment Committee. He will be based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Since its inception, Dune has actively invested in West Coast markets, including greater Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Waikiki, executing transactions across property types including retail, industrial, residential and hotels.

Mr. Greeno joins Dune from Morgan Stanley, where he was co-head of U.S. Investments for the firm’s real estate investing group, overseeing investment activities and managing the acquisition team on the West Coast in addition to sourcing, executing and managing investments on behalf of both the core and opportunistic funds managed by the firm. In his 13 years at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Greeno held a variety of roles with experience across capital structures in both public and private markets.

Mr. Greeno began his career in New York as an associate in Real Estate Investment Banking Group, before moving to the principal side of the business in 2008 and relocating to Los Angeles in 2014. He has invested and managed assets on behalf of open and closed-ended funds with various strategies including opportunistic, value-add, core, debt and special situations.

Mr. Greeno is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and serves on the board of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate.

Mr. Greeno received a J.D. / M.B.A. from the UCLA School of Law / Anderson School of Management in 2007 and a B.S. from the University of Miami (FL) in 2003.
