By letter dated December 24, 2014, the Interim Executive Director of the California Public Utilities Commission notified Southern California Edison Company, a subsidiary of Edison International, along with Pacific Gas & Electric Company, San Diego Gas & Electric Company, and Southern California Gas Company that their joint request for a one-year extension of the existing Cost of Capital Adjustment Mechanism was granted. Consequently, SCE will retain its current cost of capital through 2016, unless a change in interest rates were to trigger an adjustment.
