Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors;
Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 30, 2008, the Board of Directors of Mueller Industries, Inc. (the
"Company") appointed Gregory L. Christopher, the Company's Chief Operating
Officer, as the Company's Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Further information about Mr. Christopher was reported under Item 5.02 of the
Form 8-K filed by the Company on September 16, 2008, and is incorporated herein
by reference. On October 27, 2008, the Company announced that its former
President and Chief Executive Officer, William D. O'Hagan, passed away after a
year-long battle with lung cancer.
