Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officer; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On November 2, 2016, The Gap, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Sabrina Simmons, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and principal accounting officer will leave the Company. Ms. Simmons will be employed by the Company until February 1, 2017 and will cease to hold the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and principal accounting officer on a date prior to such date to be determined. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
