Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(c) On June 14, 2007, the Board of Directors of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Mr. Alan Sheiness, 49, as the Company’s Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Sheiness joined the Company in 1984. Prior to his promotion to Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, he served as President, ES Small Business Services from 2006 to the present, as Chief Financial Officer of the Company’s Employer Services business from 2004 to 2005, as General Manager of the Company’s ES Tax & Financial Services business from 2003 to 2004, and as Chief Financial Officer of the Company’s ES Tax & Financial Services business from 1999 to 2003.
