The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 7.01, "Regulation FD
Disclosure."
On January 26, 2005, South Jersey Industries (SJI) issued a press release
declaring a quarterly dividend of $0.425 per share. This equates to an
annualized dividend of $1.70 per share. The dividend is payable April 4, 2005,
to shareholders of record at the close of business March 10, 2005. A copy of
the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99 and hereby incorporated by
reference.
