     On August 9, 2005, Renal Care Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the receipt of a subpoena from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri in St. Louis. A copy of that press release is furnished with this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
