SAP AG
FORM 6-K
On May 15, 2009, SAP AG, a stock corporation organized under the laws of the Federal Republic of
Germany (SAP), filed a quarterly report with Deutsche Boerse AG for the first quarter ended March
31, 2009 (the Quarterly Report). The Quarterly Report is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and
incorporated by reference herein.
This Quarterly Report discloses certain non-GAAP measures. These measures are not prepared in
accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and are, therefore, considered non-GAAP
financial measures. Generally, a non-GAAP financial measure is a numerical measure of a companys
performance, financial position, or cash flows that either excludes or includes amounts that are
not normally excluded or included in the most directly comparable measure calculated and presented
in accordance with GAAP.
Please refer to page 35 of the Quarterly Report for further information regarding the non-GAAP
measures.
As used herein, GAAP refers to generally accepted accounting principles in the United States.
Any statements contained in this document that are not historical facts are forward-looking

any forward-looking statements. All forward-looking statements are subject to various risks and
uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from expectations. The factors

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC), including SAPs most recent Annual Report on
Form 20-F for 2008 filed with the SEC. Readers are cautioned not to place undue reliance on these
