On November 19, 2004, American Home Mortgage Investment Corp. (the
"Company") is presenting at the Lehman Brothers 2004 Small Cap Conference (the
"Lehman Conference") taking place at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona. The
text of the materials to be provided in connection with the Company's
presentation at the Lehman Conference is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is
incorporated herein by reference. The Company issued a press release on November
15, 2004, announcing its presentation at the Lehman Conference and how to access
a replay of the presentation. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as
Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
