The home remodeler lands the top spot for second consecutive year
Power Home Remodeling (“POWER”), the nation’s leading exterior home remodeler, has earned the #1 spot on the 2024 Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction™ List in the large company category for the second consecutive year.
The Best Workplaces in Construction award is based on analysis of survey responses from over 43,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified™ companies in the construction industry. Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifiers.
“POWER is a service organization, not only in what we do, but in how we approach building a best-in-class workplace experience for our people — and it’s our people who show up every day, with a commitment to deliver that same best-in-class experience for our customers,” said POWER’s Chief Production Officer, Rob Borislow. “While we’re proud to be recognized for those efforts, we’re inspired to keep going.”
POWER provides a one-of-kind experience for employees — one that’s setting a new standard for what it means to work in the construction industry, yet also what it means to be a great place to work period, regardless of industry. A few unique offerings include:
- As part of POWER’s commitment to the trades, employees are trained with the construction skills needed to complete installations through the company’s Dan Price Craftsmanship Academy. The Craftsman program allows POWER to set a new standard for install expectations in the remodeling industry.
- To increase POWER’s philanthropic impact, the company launched Power for Good: a series of initiatives that amplify the vision and voices of employees to shape philanthropic efforts, supporting non-profits like DonorsChoose, The Trevor Project, Girls, Inc., The Urban League, and many more.
- POWER’s employee engagement strategy includes over 250+ annual events that foster a greater sense of community, including an annual Quest music festival and retreat in Mexico with acts like Bruno Mars and Wiz Khalifa.
POWER’s reputation as one of the most trusted home remodeling companies in the country spans over 30 years and one million lifetime customers. Company rankings are derived from 60 employee experience questions within the Great Place To Work Trust Index™ Survey. Companies with 10 to 999 employees competed in the small and medium category.
