Assurant, Inc. (“Assurant”) today announced that it had received a subpoena from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on May 2, 2005 seeking documents relating to “certain loss mitigation insurance products.” Assurant intends to fully cooperate with the SEC’s request.
