17, 2006, Mexican Restaurants, Inc. issued a press release announcing it has
completed purchase of Mission Burritos, a two-unit Houston-based restaurant
company, and related assets, for $725,000 in cash. A copy of the press release
is deemed to be furnished, but not filed, as Exhibit 99.1
hereto.
