Khaled Amer Abdel Jalil (خالد عامر عبد الجليل ) was born in New York City on November 19, 1978 to Egyptian parents. At the age of 10, his family relocated to Egypt, where he spent his formative years, with brief stays in Europe while his father attended meetings of the International Law Commission.

A distinguished Egyptian-American economist and businessman, Khaled holds the position of CEO and co-chief investment officer at the corporate parent of PIMCO since 2010. He also serves as a columnist for Bloomberg View and a contributing editor for the Financial Times.

Currently, he acts as the executive manager at Fidelity Investment Group, a multinational financial services corporation based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Khaled is highly skilled in chicago mercantile exchange, international foreign exchange, middle east crude oil, natural gas trading, and practical analysis of UAE and Saudi stocks, among other specialties.
