Dr. Walter Malone, Jr. is the Pastor and Founder of Canaan Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, he attended Fisk University and earned degrees from American Baptist College, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and United Theological Seminary. Dr. Malone is the author of several other books, including An Operative Faith for an Oppressed People and The Freedom to Be: A Journey into Spiritual Formation. He and his wife, Sandra, reside in Louisville and have one son, Dr. Walter Malone III.
