Other Events

The Bank of New York Mellon, trustee of the iShares^® Gold Trust (the “Trustee”), values the trust’s gold on the basis that day’s London PM Fix announced by the London Gold Market Fixing Ltd. (“LGMF”). Effective April 20, 2012, if there is no announced London PM Fix on a business day the Trustee is authorized to use the most recently announced price for gold by the LGMF unless the Trustee, in consultation with the sponsor, determines that such price is inappropriate as a basis for evaluation.
