Adastra Partners with AWS and SFMA to Host Let's Get Florida Manufacturing Conference

Service awards totaling $140,000 available for participating Florida manufacturers

Adastra, the global Data and Analytics solution provider, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the South Florida Manufacturing Association (SFMA) to host the Let's Get Florida Manufacturing conference at Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Levan Centre of Innovation on March 1, 2023.

The event will welcome manufacturing professionals from across the state and include speakers from AWS, Mark Anthony Group, Taiga Building Products and Trividia Health addressing how leveraging manufacturing-specific analytics platforms and data can increase efficiencies, competitiveness and advance the sector in a sustainable way.

According to a recent poll from Adastra, nearly 90 percent of IT decision makers in the United States agree that how organizations utilize data is a competitive differentiator and nearly three quarters believe that their company is behind competitors in utilizing data analytics.

“We know that manufacturers that take advantage of automation, data science and advanced analytics will continue to drive new customer and service revenues, optimize supply chains and improve their operational efficiencies,” said Hector Osuna, Executive Director at Adastra North America.

“Partnering with AWS and SFMA for this event underscores the opportunities for manufacturers to evolve their operations and improve their competitiveness in the global marketplace,” said Osuna.

In addition to a full slate of speakers and networking opportunities, $140,000 of consulting services from Adastra are available to Florida manufacturers who submit a use case by February 28 and attend the conference. Adastra will award the winning organization $100,000 worth of services and two manufacturers $20,000 of services to help implement their projects. The top three entries will be shortlisted and communicated to the winning candidates ahead of the conference.

“This is a transformational opportunity for Florida manufacturers and we are proud to help build organizations that will fuel the future of smart manufacturing in the Sunshine State,” said Osuna.

To kick off the conference, Kevin Harmer, Chief Cloud Officer at Adastra North America, will deliver a webinar with SFMA on Intelligent Manufacturing today. Conference participants are encouraged to attend to hear a preview of topics to come at the March event as well as insights on how manufacturers can lower production costs, improve customer experiences and more.
