Federman & Sherwood Investigates LivaNova USA, Inc. for Data Breach

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into LivaNova USA, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. Around October 26, 2023, discovered on November 19, 2023, LivaNova experienced a cybersecurity incident. LivaNova began an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the incident. Based on the investigation, on April 10, 2024, LivaNova learned that an unauthorized party obtained certain individuals’ personal information. The information, which varied by affected individual, included the following: name, contact information (e.g., phone number, email and postal address), Social Security number, date of birth, medical information (e.g., treatment, condition, diagnosis, prescription, physician, medical record number and device serial number), and health insurance information.
