On November 2, 2011, Comstock Mining Inc. (the “Company”) announced the posting of its third National Instrument 43-1-1 (NI 43-101) technical report (the “2011 Report”) authored by Behre Dolbear & Company (USA) Ltd. relating to the Company’s properties. The 2011 Report is now posted and available on the Company’s website, http://www.comstockmining.com/properties/technical-reports.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K. A copy of the executive summary of the 2011 Report is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Form 8-K. This Form 8-K, Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2 are each being furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) pursuant to Item 8.01 of Form 8-K and are therefore not to be considered “filed” with the SEC.
