Results of Operations and Financial Condition |
On April 21, 2011, Snap-on Incorporated (the “Corporation”) issued a press release entitled “Snap-on Announces First Quarter 2011 Results; Diluted EPS of $0.96 increases 52.4% from $0.63 last year; Sales of $693.7 million up 11.6% year over year; Operating earnings of $99.8 million rises 42.6% from 2010.” The text of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99 and incorporated herein by reference.
The press release contains cautionary statements identifying important factors that could cause actual results of the Corporation to differ materially from those described in any forward-looking statement of the Corporation.
