Item 5.05 Amendments to the Registrant’s Code of Ethics, or Waiver of a Provision of the Code of Ethics.

 

On March 23, 2017, the board of directors of CKX Lands, Inc. (the “Company”) amended and restated the Company’s Code of Ethics to, among other things, update portions of the Code relating to the handling of conflicts of interest; disclosure in public filings and other public communications; compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations; reporting of violations of the Code; and accountability for adherence to the Code. The Code is available on the Company’s website, www.ckxlands.com.
