Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 5, 2016, Dennis L. Fink announced his intention to retire from his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc. ("Havertys" or the "Company"). Mr. Fink and the Company have not determined an exact retirement date. Mr. Fink will assist in Havertys' selection of his successor and has agreed to remain into 2017 as needed to ensure an orderly transition.
