DUKE ENERGY HAS SAID THAT RIGHT NOW THERE IS NO ESTIMATION FOR WHEN THE POWER COULD BE TURNED BACK ON AS CREWS BATTLE DAMAGE LEFT BEHIND. AND IN TIMES OF DESPERATION, SOME PEOPLE HAVE RESORTED TO LOOTING STORES IMPACTED BY THE STORM. BUT THE STOREFRONT IN THE HISTORIC DISTRICT, WRAL WAS THERE AS THE MOMENT PLAYED OUT WITHOUT LAW ENFORCEMENT.
