Darling International Inc. (the "Company") is filing this current report on Form 8-K to report that on September 26, 2002, the Company announced in a press release that a search committee has been formed to select a successor to Denis J. Taura, Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of the Company. Mr. Taura will continue his duties as CEO until the appointment of his successor.
